About Us:
Seattle Commissary Kitchen (SCK) is a membership-based shared kitchen company supporting food entrepreneurs across the Seattle area. We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our kitchens and facilities running smoothly!
Position: Facilities & Maintenance Technician
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Location: Seattle, WA (multiple locations)
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Day shifts (8 hrs), weekdays + one weekend day (flexible)
What You’ll Do:
- Facility & Building Maintenance
- Perform general repairs (drywall, painting, shelving, doors, locks, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (sinks, fixtures, water heaters)
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, etc.)
- Keep common areas tidy (mopping, trash removal, etc.)
- Kitchen Equipment Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, ovens, mixers, etc.)
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of appliances and machines
- Track inventory of parts and repairs in UpKeep Software
- Move and install kitchen equipment as needed
- Teamwork & Communication
- Provide timely updates to team and management
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work and repairs
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in facility and equipment maintenance (commercial kitchen experience a plus)
- Strong mechanical, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Organized, dependable, and solution-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Full-time (In-person)
- 8-hour shifts
- One weekend day required (Saturday or Sunday – flexible)
- Occasional evening or overtime work
